If a person has really bad breath, does that make his or her boogers smelly?
...
I really want to know. Because I've never noticed smelly boogers when my breath is bad, but it's all from the same source. I don't know, it just seems like there should be a connection. And like, boogers are already IN your nose, so what if everything we smell always has the faint smell of boogers anyway? Which means when we smell 'nothing' we're really smelling boogers, and so we don't know what nothing smells like! Just like people who have never been blind don't know what 'nothing' looks like.
Oh, that reminds me, I have to start The Neverending Story. But I'm still in the middle of Angela's Ashes, The English Patient, New Spring (prequel to The Wheel of Time Series), and a bunch of history textbooks. I figure I should finish a few before starting yet another.

In other news, I have a bright yellow raincoat. I also have a pinstriped polka-dotted skirt (cuteness). But it's the raincoat that will help me take over the universe. Because everybody knows that bright yellow raincoats have magical powers, and so naturally I, as the proud owner of one, will become magical and learn the secrets of planetary domination. Well, the ones that I haven't already figured out, muah ha HA HA HAHAHAHAA!
And my best friend Shelly said she wanted to join the campaign, so I made her Commander in Chief of the Umbrella Brigade. Yup, we've got plans. (But don't worry Cap'n Tasuki, your sister can have earth. I just want the rest of the galaxy. Bwahahaha! (And if you want a position in this not-so-hostile takeover, just lemme know and I'll hook you up, yo.)

Also, I've seen Joel two days in a row, and tonight he's eating dinner with the parental units and myself. And I didn't cry yesterday, and so far I haven't today! It's so nice for all the clichés to begin happening. I mean, it's fine and dandy for me to know I'll be okay, and maybe this is for the best, and hey, it was good while it lasted... But for my heart to finally start accepting this, well... Yeah. It's a good feeling. Empowering, but not in an I AM WOMAN, HEAR ME ROAR! kind of way. Just a this is nice feeling, if you get my drift.
I wonder where that expression came from. (Get my drift?) I have a book about word origins and sayings, so I'm tempted to look it up. Except I think the book is in storage in Pullman, which is 333.34 miles away. (Yes, that is an exact number.) (Well, okay, maybe not, because I just remembered the storage is in Moscow, not Pullman. Idaho, not Russia.)
Plus, the book has a rather poor organization. It's a bit muddled and confusing, so even though I love opening up to random pages and reading, it's not much help when I wish to look up a specific term.

Wow. A whole entry, sans-whinging. Rock ON, dudes, and I'll see you on the flip-side (which is another expression I should look up).
